Stained Glass Windows at Morningside Baptist Church in Asheville, NC

     In 2016, Morningside Baptist Church renovated their sanctuary and purchased new windows.  Laws Stained Glass Studios installed (12) opalescent glass windows.  The twelve windows (size 41" wide x 87-1/2" high) each contained a 12" x 16" hand-stained glass medallion with a scene from the "Life of Christ", and a memorial plate at the bottom.
     Laws began the installation by removing the existing vinyl windows.  Laws installed the opalescent glass windows into the existing wood jamb.  The outside wood frame was covered with white aluminum flashing.  On the outside, 1/4" Lucite acrylic was installed as the protective covering.
